Laura Aris ES

I have been working in the contemporary dance field for over thirty years, moving between performing, creating, and teaching. I started performing with companies such as Lanònima Imperial and General Eléctrica d’Espectàcles in Barcelona, and later with Ultima Vez / Wim Vandekeybus, where I worked from 1999 to 2009, including the creation and touring of iconic performances such as Blush, Puur, and Sonic Boom. Since then, I have developed my own projects while collaborating with different artists and companies across Europe and beyond.

Teaching has always been deeply connected to my artistic practice. I have shared my work with passion and conviction in festivals, universities, and training programmes worldwide, including Impulstanz, Deltebre Dansa, P.A.R.T.S., S.E.A.D., La Faktoria Choreographic Center, Institut del Teatre in Barcelona, Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, and CNSMD Lyon, among many others.
