PARTS PRESENTS is the name for public performances of PARTS students, organised by the school, presenting the results of workshops and projects within the curriculum. It stands next to the more informal PARTS@WORK presentations which are organised and curated by the students.
The first PARTS PRESENTS by Generation XV is coming up in November. Stay tuned for more info!
During PARTS PRESENTS, the results of an intensive working period are combined in different curated programmes. The dance material is at the foreground and shown in a minimal technical setting.
During the repertoire workshops, students not only learn to embody excerpts from the original pieces, but also get the chance to personally embody the material and create their own variations and interpretations.
For personal work, students formulate their own artistic proposal and receive individual guidance through coaching. The goal is not necessarily to work towards a finished performance; the process is at the fore.
