Urtė Groblytė was born in Lithuania in 1999, where she studied classical ballet for ten years at the National M.K.Čiurlionis school of arts. In 2018, she moved to Germany to study modern dance at Folkwang University Of Arts, and then finally, in 2019, she joined the Training cycle in P.A.R.T.S.

Among many other artistic interests, Urtė’s current focus is on the voice and text in the dance performances that originate from and confront a long and silent background in classical ballet training. She is working with the connection between body, image, and language, which manifests itself as storytelling through different mediums, characters, and places, rarely without a taste of irony.
