LanDans Festival

Generation XI reunites in Landen!

On 23 and 24 May 2026, a new initiative emerges from within the P.A.R.T.S. community: LanDans Festival takes place in the city of Landen.

Initiated by Yuika Hashimoto, the festival marks ten years since the graduation of Generation XI. Developed together with fellow alumni Jacob Storer, Laura-Maria Poletti and Louis Nam Le Van Ho, the project brings a group of artists back together to reflect on a decade of artistic practice.

The festival builds on a shared history. In their final year at P.A.R.T.S., Generation XI organised their own graduation festival: an independent project that later inspired the school to integrate an end-of-year festival into its curriculum. Ten years on, LanDans revisits that collective spirit in a new context.

Now based in Landen, Yuika Hashimoto has initiated the festival as both a reunion and a gesture of connection with her local environment. LanDans presents the current work of Generation XI alumni, bringing together the diverse artistic trajectories they have developed since leaving P.A.R.T.S. These practices are shared with audiences in Landen and beyond, creating a dialogue between an international artistic network and a local context.

The festival also establishes links with the present generation of students (Generation XV). As part of the programme, Louis Nam Le Van Ho collaborates with 16 current P.A.R.T.S. students to revisit and rework a piece he originally created ten years ago, opening a space for transmission across generations.
