Yoga class with Stéphane Bourhis

The teaching of Yoga following the BKS Iyengar methodology is based in depth practice of yoga postures and pranayama (art of breathing), with rigorously, intensity and precision of the body alignments.
During the class we gradually explore the outer and the inner geometry of the body in different groups of postures and movements.

Creative workshop with David Hernandez

Spontaneous Composition
During this workshop we will explore spontaneous composition, or improvisation as a performance form. Our work will be centred around how to compose in the moment with others and make it readable and enjoyable for the viewer. We will address how to propose and develop ideas in a performative improvisational format as a collective endeavour. In this interest we will explore both, scored and wide open improvisations with an emphasis on consequence and readability, and work to develop the tools and imagination necessary to accomplish this.

Introduction to Ballet with Elisabeth Farr

This class is for dancers that are interested in revisiting basic information . The class will begin on the floor with exercises to help find one’s own skeletal alignment into standing. We will then explore this new awareness found on the floor in a Ballet Barre to observe and use the ballet vocabulary as an approach to view and use our body . Thereafter we will explore the 7 basic movements that create the vocabulary of Ballet.
