Biographies des anciens étudiants

Les biographies ci-dessous ont été rassemblées en 2006, lors de la publication du livre sur dix ans de PARTS. Le matériel était envoyé par les anciens étudiants ou collectionné pas d'autres sources. Ula Sickle a fait la rédaction. Seuls les gens qui ont fini au moins un an complet à PARTS sont inclus. Pour quelques personnes, aucune informartion a été trouvée.

Les biographies seront mis à jour dans le Printemps de 2011. Les gens qui ont fini leurs études après 2006 seront ajoutés. Les biographies ne sont disponibles qu'en anglais.

Anne-Linn AKSELSEN5 created the productions B-fold (2004) ?and Dog Day Afternoons (2006) in collaboration with Justin Garrick.?She assisted Lance Gries for the PARTS repertory workshop on Set and Reset and Johanne Saunier for the creation of Urban Bubbles - Mozart (2006). She was the repetitor and artistic coordinator for the PARTS Graduation Tour 2006.

Laida ALDAZ ARRIETA5 danced with Roberto Olivan and the Enclave dance company in the production De Farra (2003). She has also worked with the Moose Dance Company in Stockholm and with David Zambrano in Amsterdam.  

Javier ALEMAN MORILLO5 is a member of the Berlin based company TWO FISH (Angela Schubot and Martin Clausen). He has also been dancing with Neuer Tanz (Düsseldorf), under the direction of Va Wölfl, and the Lazzar Dance Company. His own choreographies 3 days time (2004) and Uno (2005) were presented by HAU Berlin.  

Rasa ALKSNYTE3 left PARTS after her first year to join the Ariadone company (Paris), where she danced in Haru No Saiten, a choreography by Carlotta Ikeda and Ko Murobushi.  

Before coming to PARTS, Chloé ATTOU6 was a member of the Jeune Ballet of the C.N.S.M.D of Lyon. Since her studies at PARTS she has worked for Arco Renz on Opium (2004) and choreographed the solo Chaconne en ré mineur.  

Eulalia AYGUADE FARRO4 worked with the Public Eye Company in Denmark before joining the Akram Khan Company (London) for Kaash and Ma, among others. In 2005 she and Anton Lachky created Twice Read, a duet co-produced by the company and presented at Queen Elizabeth Hall, London.  

Nicola BAHNA2 danced in Belgium with Het Muziek Lod/ Fatou Traore (Passages) and Kobalt Works/ Arco Renz (Mirth). He is working with Compañia Sol Pico (Barcelona) and Teatre Huemul (Santiago de Chile) and is teaching yoga, Improvisation and Body Mind Centering in Chile (Escuela de Danza ARCIS, Centro de Artes Corporales, a.o.).  

Since leaving PARTS, Matthieu BAJOLET6 has been living and working in France. In 2005, he performed in X-Event 2, a project by Annie Vigier and Frank Apertet. Recently, he became a member of the company of Héla Fattoumi and Eric Lamoureux in Théâtre de Caen (France).  

Marcel BASSACHS BIROSTA2 has danced for Vincente Saez (Valencia), compagnie B-Valiente and Ted Stoffer, in addition to creating his own work for Compagnie Lantana. Since 2005 he has been in charge of a new project which brings dance to jails, an initiative supported by the department of Justice of Catalonia.  

Hélène BENABBAD1 founded In 2003 the company La Suerte (Saint-Benoît, France), which she is directing together with Victorine Lucas.  

Stefanie BODIEN1 has worked as a dancer with Ugo Dehaes, Arco Renz and Michèle-Anne de Mey. In 2001 she began studying Film and Theory in the University of Brussels and received her Masters Degree from the University of Liège in 2005. Since 2001 she has been working as an independent filmmaker.  

Eve BONNEAU6 participated in the Paul Deschanel research group (Brussels), led by Alexander Baervoets and Heike Langsdorf. She is currently working on a solo project, which she recently presented at Les Bains::Connective in Brussels.  

Nicholetta BRANCHINI3 has danced for Paola Bartoletti, Shaula Cambazzu and Dominique Duszynski. She has choreographed for Muziektheater Transparant under the direction of Wouter Van Looy. Since 2003 she has been teaching dance at the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles.  

Dorothée BRIDOUX 5 quit dancing and has been studying nutrition.   Sofia BRITO1 is a yoga teacher and brings creative dance to children through the program Art Basics for Children. In 2004 she created the solo Taking Shape, produced by Espace Catastrophe, Brussels.  

Varinia CANTO VILA2 worked with Meg Stuart/Damaged Goods on Highway 101 (2000). She has performed with Rashid Ouramdane/ Association Fin Novembre, Lilia Mestre and David Hernandez among others. She collaborated with Kurt D’Haeseleer on several video installations and was recently seen in Inner Horizon (2006) by Christelle Fillod and Yukiko Shinosaki (DeepBlue).  

Lea CAPKOVÁ 4 worked for the company Dèja Donné before moving to Prague, Czech Republic, to work with Company Nora Sopková and Company Nanohach. In 2004 she created Seconds to Choose in collaboration with Linda Samaraweerova, which was presented at the Duncan Center in Prague.  

Before coming to PARTS, Vincenzo CARTA6 studied architecture at the University in Florence. While in school he created Audience with Solo (2004) and more recently the solo Urban Project X (2006). Both have been presented in several venues in Italy. His 2nd year piece We Go (2004), a duet with Benjamin Vandewalle, is still touring.  

Cédric CHARRON3 joined Troubleyn (Antwerp) in 1999 for As Long as the world Needs a Warrior Soul and has since been working regularly with the company of Jan Fabre. He created the Label CEDANA in 2002 together with Annabelle Chambon. Sens Acte Sans (2005) is their most recent project.  

Alice CHAUCHAT 3, currently based in Berlin, began working with Tom Plischke and B.D.C. (Frankfurt). She collaborated with Vera Knolle on A number of Classics in the Age of Performance (2003), with Anne Juren on J’aime (2003) and with Alix Eynaudi on Crystall (2004). She also participated in Project (2004) of Xavier Le Roy.  

Sidi Larbi CHERKAOUI 2 worked with Alain Platel on Iets op Bach (1998) before creating Rien de Rien (2000) for Les Ballets C de La B – for which he received the Nijinski Award, followed by Foi (2003) and Tempus fugit (2004). In 2005 he created Zero Degrees, a duet with Akram Khan. Larbi has also created choreography for the Ballet of Monte Carlo, the Ballet du Grand Théâtre de Genève, the Cullberg Ballet and the Sasha Waltz Company. In 2007, he will become one of the core artists of the Toneelhuis in Antwerp.  

After PARTS, Katarzyna CHMIELEWSKA 2 joined the X-group where she collaborated with Magda Reiter on All these Apropos (2000), and later on Attention (2002). She also worked with Roberto Olivan on the piece Natural Strange Days (2001). She works as a choreographer and actress for the dance theatre company Teatr Dada von Bzdülöw (Gdansk), which she co-founded in 1993, recently creating Bonsai (2005)and Juicy flesh (2005).  

After leaving PARTS, Ondine CLOEZ4 participated in a six month study program at the Choreographic Center in Montpellier (France). She has since worked with Mathilde Monnier on Publique (2004), as well as with Laurent Pichaud and Rémy Hertitier.  

Marta CORONADO 2 joined Rosas in 1998 for the creation of Drumming. She has been working for the company ever since, dancing In real time (2000), Rain (2001), Bitches Brew/Tacoma Narrows (2003), Raga for the rainy season (2005), among others. In 2001 she was awarded a Bessie in New York for Best Dancer of The Year for her performance in Drumming.  

Claire CROIZÉ 3 has worked with Andy Deneys, Caterina Sagna, Philippe Blanchard, Hooman Sharifi and Jean-Luc Ducourt. She performed in the duet Skènè (2003) with Etienne Guilloteau. Her own work includes Blowing Up (2002) and the triptych Affected (2006).  

Caroline CYBULA3 has been working as an actress and dancer with, among others, Michel Laub and the company Turak in Lyon and Virginie Mirbeau in Le Havre, France. She has collaborated with the visual artist Isabelle Decoux.  

Ingrid DECERF 2 is a member of the Companie Xavier Gossuin in Tournai (Belgium), and has choreographed a duet with Marie Callens in 2005.  

Ugo DEHAES2 worked with Meg Stuart/Damaged Goods on Appetite (1998) and Highway 101 (2000). He created the duet Lijfstof (2000) with Charlotte Vanden Eynde and the duet ROEST (2002) with Chloé Dujardin. Ugo has also worked with Arco Renz, Alice Chauchat, Kataline Patkaï, Nada Gambier and Keren Levi.  

Carlos DE HARO 1 has worked with Wim Vandekeybus on 7 for a secret never to be told (1998) and with Pierre Droulers on De l’air et du vent (1999).  

Isabelle DE KEYSER 2 worked with Joanne Leighton and has danced in several pieces of Salva Sanchis, including Itch and Fear (2000) and Constant Relay (2002). She taught dancers in Maputo, Mozambique, where she was commissioned a choreography by Danças na Cidade (Lisbon) for the Alma Txina production (together with Thomas Hauert, George Khumalo, Arco Renz and Riina Sastamoinen).  

Joëlle DEMULDER 2 has danced with different companies in Belgium, notably Michèle Anne de Mey and Michèle Noiret. She participated in the Klapstuk festival, creating a solo and a duet with Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui. In addition to teaching dance, Joëlle works regularly for the Bal Moderne.  

Andy DENEYS 3 danced for Emio Greco in Extra Dry (1999) before creating Galothar, his own company in 2000. His own works include 9 Floorscenes (2000), Miura Verona (2002), Kore (2005) and Mudar (2005).  

Lieve DE POURCQ 5 has been dancing in Vienna with Christine Gaigg, Doris Stelzer, Martina Ruhsam and Oleg Soulimenko. She worked with Leslie Mannes on Delusive Figures and created the piece Bremskraft in 2004.  

Lizelot DE STIGTER2 is since many years been working as a tango teacher.  

After Leaving PARTS Tina DOBAJ5 returned to Slovenia where she has been working as a dancer and choreographer. She choreographed The Way (2003) and Geiko (2004) for the Dance Theater of Ljubljana. She has also worked as a dancer for Matjaz Faric.  

Tale DOLVEN6 worked with Charlotte Vanden Eynde on Beginnings/ Endings (2005). She premiered a solo of her own making in Bergen in 2005 before joining Rosas for the creation of D’un soir un jour (2006). She also dances with Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker in the revival of Fase and Four movements to the music of Steve Reich (1982).  

Chloé DUJARDIN3 worked with Davis Freeman on Too shy to stare (2002) and played in Lotus Drive (2003) of theatre director Pieter De Buysser. She also collaborated on Roest (2003) with Ugo Dehaes. In addition to working as a dancer, Chloé is currently studying Political Science at the ULB in Brussels.  

Cristian DUARTE4 toured with his graduation project Middle High Tones (2002), in collaboration with Shani Granot. After PARTS he created Embodied (2003) with Shani Granot and Peter Fol and Basic Dance (2004) with Paz Rojo. He has been dancing for Lynda Gaudreau, Fabiano Britto and Thelma Bonavita. He is currently working on a new project in collaboration with Shani Granot, Peter Fol, Nada Gambier and Alice Evermore. He received, together with Shani Granot, the European Bonnie Byrd Choreography Award 2002 (London).  

Katie EWALD5 performed in the Forced Entertainment productions The Voices and On the Thousandth Night. She dances with the Instant Improvisation Collective (Montreal) and the choreographers Sara Hanley, Ame Henderson and Chanti Wadge. Her solos were presented by Tangente (Montreal) and Series 808 (Toronto).  

Alix EYNAUDI1 joined Rosas in 1996 for Just Before and stayed with the company until 2002 for April Me and Counter Phrases. She has since then worked with a.o. Alice Chauchat (Crystall, 2005), Erna Omarsdottir & Emil Hrvatin (We are all Marlene Dietrich, 2005) and Superamas (Big 3, 2006). Currently she is working on a solo project.  

While in PARTS, Gilles FUMBA5 worked with Jean-François Michaud. He co-created Rabbit Hole (2004) with Domenico Giustino and Kajsa Sandström and Hopscotch (2006) with Domenico and Frauke Mariën.  

After the piece B-Fold (2004) made in collaboration with Anne-Linn Akselsen, Justin GARRICK 5 created Dog Day Afternoons which premiered in February 2006 in Monty, Antwerp. He is currently writing and experimenting with music.  

Nada GAMBIER 4 joined PARTS for the second cycle after receiving a bachelors of contemporary dance degree in London (LCDS). In 2003 she created the solo Confessions – The Autopsy of a Performance. She has been dancing with Charlotte Vanden Eynde and is currently at work on a new production: Act of living – Catalogue of failure.  

Pep M. GARRIGUES 5 continued his training in ex.e.r.ce in Montpellier and CNDC in Angers. He danced with Anne Lopez and created Just marking with Özlem Alkis, which was presented in France, Germany and Turkey.  

Mariana GARZON GARCIA3 has been dancing with Andy Deneys, notably in Miura Verona (2002) and Mudar (2005). She has also worked for Ugo Dehaes in the children’s production Rozenblad (2004) and for Claire Croizé in the pieces Runway (2003) and Affected (2006).  

Domenico GIUSTINO5 created Rabbit Hole (2004) with Gilles Fumba and Kajsa Sandstörm. He and Gilles went on to form the Rabbit Hole Collective and were joined by Frauke Mariën for a new production which premiered in February 2006 in Monty, Antwerp. He has worked with Maria Clara Villa Lobos on the creation of Super! (2005).  

Claire GODSMARK4 participated in Schreibstuck of Thomas Lehmen, in a version directed by Jonathan Burrows (2004), and in Document 4 (2005) of the Canadian choreographer Lynda Gaudreau. She is currently working with Claire Croizé on Affected (2006).  

Sonia GOMEZ VICENTE1 worked with companies such as La Carniceria Teatro (Rodrigo Garcia) and La Fura dels Baus in Madrid, and created performances such as La Trilogia Egomotion (2002), the solo performance series I will never stop dancing and Mi madre y yo (2004).  

Shani GRANOT 4 collaborated with Cristian Duarte on Middle High Tones (2002) and Embodied (2004), and with Peter Fol on It’s a small world (2004). She danced in Charlotte vanden Eynde’s Beginnings/Endings (2005). She received, together with Cristian Duarte, the European Bonnie Byrd Choreography Award 2002 (London).  

After leaving PARTS, Sandra GRINBERG2 continued her studies at the Trisha Brown Studio. She entered the Trisha Brown Company in 1999, and has been performing with them internationally ever since. She also teaches Trisha Brown repertory in New York and worldwide.  

Julien GROSVALET 5 left PARTS to work in the Centre Chorégraphique in Nantes, France, with Claude Brumachon and Benjamin Lamarche. He has also worked with Compania Metros in Barcelona.  

Lisbeth GRUWEZ3 began working with Wim Vandekeybus before joining Jan Fabre/Troubleyn in 1999. Fabre created the solo Quando l’uomo principale è una donna for her in 2004. Lisbeth has also worked for Needcompany/Jan Lauwers, Grace Ellen Barkey, En-Knap/Iztok Kovac and Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui.  

Etienne GUILLOTEAU4 created the solo Love Me Two Times (2002) at the end of PARTS, followed by the duet Skènè for himself and Claire Croizé in 2003. He performed with Vincent Dunoyer in Solos for Others (2002), and has also danced for Charlotte Vanden Eynde, Marc Vanrunxt and Alexander Baervoets.  

Ewelina GUZIK2 has performed with Charlotte Vanden Eynde, Rasa Alksnyte and in Switzerland with Simone Huber, Jan Godie, the Denis Lampart Company and the Carole Meier Company. She was also featured in several video productions by visual artist Pipilotti Rist, and had a role in the film The Last Word (1999), by Wim Vandekeybus.  

Kai GUZOWSKI6 has worked with choreographers Kristine Sommerlade and Alexandra Meijer and for the Tanzcompanie St. Gallen. He is currently working for Tanzcompanie Giessen.  

Susan HENGARTNER1 danced for several years with VA Wölfl/Neuer Tanz (Giselle in darkness let me dwell among others) and later also with Arco Renz (Think me thickness). In 2002 she co-founded the collective PAK, Praxis für angewandte Kunst in Zürich, Switzerland. Their latest project, for an urban space along the canal in Brussels, was supported by Kaaitheater.  

Milan HERICH 6 participated in the Rabbit Project with David Zambrano in 2003 and later joined Ultima Vez for the creation of Puur (2005). In 2006 he co-founded a new company (Les SlovaKs), with Martin Kilvady and others, and he is currently working with Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui.  

After graduating, Radoslaw HEWELT 4 danced in Attention (2002) of Magdalena Reiter. He has since been working in Vienna for different choreographers including Helena Golab, Bert Gestetner, Elio Gervasi and Andrea Stotter. In 2005 he premiered 21 minutes during the ImpulsTanz Festival.  

Gemma HIGGINBOTHAM 4 has worked on several productions of Michèle Anne De Mey including Utopie (2001) and Raining Dogs (2002). She has also worked for Manuela Rastaldi. Since 2004 she has been collaborating with choreographer Philippe Blanchard.  

Saskia HÖLBLING1 founded the company Dans.Kias in 1995 in Vienna for which she created works such as Distance.Two. Near (1999), Exposition corps (2003), Your body is the shoreline (2005) and Jours blancs (2006). In addition she has danced with Willi Dörner, Laurent Pichaud and Benoît Lachambre.  

Sylvie HUYSMAN1 worked with Michèle Noiret between1997 and 1999. She has since worked as a dancer for Josse de Pauw, Sarah Ringoet, Truus Bronkhorst and Marien Jongewaard and as an actor for Ko van den Bosch, Roy Peeters and Lotte Van den Berg. Kayoko IIDA 2 works with the Strange Kinoko Dance company in Japan.  

Since 2002, Mette INGVARTSEN 5 has been working on her own projects, including Manual Focus (2003), Out Of Order (2004), 50/50 (2004) and to come (2005). She has worked on several theatre productions with Jan Ritsema and Bojana Cvejic´ including, KNOWH2OW (2006) and is currently engaged in a long term research project at Nadine in Brussels, relating to modes of production in performing arts.  

Peter JASKO6 has worked for Roberto Olivan, Jurij Konjar, Giorgio Barberio Corsetti and is currently working with Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui. He collaborates regularly with David Zambrano both as a performer and as an assistant for his classes and workshops. In 2006 he cofounded a new company (Les SlovaKs), with Martin Kilvady and others.  

Since leaving PARTS, Maja JOHANSSON 5 has worked with Oscar Von Seth and the Moose Dance company. She performs regularly as a back-up singer for different Swedish artists and has created choreographies for several musical productions.  

Laura KAMPPILA 3 has worked with Kosmas Kosmopoulos and Anabel Schellekens. In 2002-03 she followed the Cultural Studies program at the University of Leuven. Since 2003 she is working as administrator of student affairs at PARTS.  

Since graduating, George KHUMALO 3 has been working as an independent choreographer in Soweto, Johannesburg, South Africa. He created the solo’s Flush (2000) and It Fits (2001), and the trio’s Ingaku (2002) and LA (2003). He formed the company MXO in 2005. His most recent production is Living on a Construction Site (2006). He died in 2007 in a car accident.  

After leaving PARTS, Christine KJELLBERG 5 studied Psychology at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Since 2004 she has been working with Hooman Sharifi and is currently dancing for Brynjar Bandlien.  

Moeketsi KOENA3 is artistic director of Inzalo Dance Theater Company in Johannesburg, South Africa. He teaches dance and choreography workshops and creates works fusing contemporary dance, African dance and hiphop.  

Kaya KOLODZIEJCZYK 5 worked with Kris Verdonk on Catching Wales is Easy (2004) and with Mette Ingvartsen on Out of Order (2005) before joining Rosas for Raga For a Rainy Season (2005) and D’un soir un jour (2006). In addition to the Rosas company, she also collaborates with Polish dancer Agnieszka Dmochowska.  

Jurij KONJAR 4 worked with Larbi Cherkaoui in Rien de rien (1999) and with Josse De Pauw and Roberto Olivan in SS (2002). He created The right mistakes (2004) and Catharsis for beginners (2005) with Peter Jasko and Milan Herich. In 2006 he created Open space hotel with Gabrielle Nankivell in Melbourne, Australia  

Between 1998 and 2002, Kosmas KOSMOPOULOS1 worked with Anabel Schellekens. Together they formed ALKYONIS to develop and produce their own work. They have been presented in many venues across Europe. Kosmas has since worked with Susanne Mueller and Gisela Rocha and collaborated with Sophia Falierou among others.  

Anton LACHKY 6 joined the Akram Khan Company (London) in 2003 for the creation of Kaash. In 2005 he created Twice Read, together with Eulalia Aygade Farro, a duet that was co-produced by the Akram Khan Company and presented at Queen Elizabeth Hall, London. In 2006 he co-founded a new company (Les SlovaKs), with Martin Kilvady and others.  

Julie LAPORTE5 has collaborated with Manuela Rastaldi in Loom (2002) and Layers (2004) and recently worked in France with Patrice Barthès, Hélène Cathala and with Emmanuelle Vo-Dinh (Compagnie Sui Generis) in White light.  

Daiane LOPES DA SILVA6 created Origem de “A” (2005) in collaboration with Joshua Zimmermann, which was performed in Brazil.  

Klaus LUDWIG2 began working as a production manager for Claudio Bernardo and Cie. and Fabienne Berger before taking up the management of Arco Renz’s company, Kobalt Works. Since 2004 he has been working for the KunstenfestivaldesArts.  

Sophie MACHTELINCKX5 worked as a volunteer in Bolivia before studying Art science and Archaeology at the Free University of Brussels (VUB). She is currently writing her thesis on Swiss curator Harald Szeemann.  

Leslie MANNES5 continued her studies at SEAD, Salzburg, Austria from 2002 until 2004. She created Delusive Figures in 2004. She is currently collaborating with Manon Santkin on a new project and working on her Master’s degree in performance studies at the U.L.B. in Brussels.  

After finishing PARTS, Céline MARIÉ3 worked with Andy Deneys on 9 Floor Scenes (2000) as well as with Claire Croizé on Donne moi quelque chose qui ne meurt pas. In 2003 she joined the Ballet Prejlocaj (Aix-en-Provence, France) and has since been working regularly with the company.  

Frauke MARIËN5 has worked with Angélique Willkie and André Gingras as well as for Ann Van den Broek. She collaborated with the Rabbit Hole Collective on Hopscotch (2006).  

Before coming to PARTS in 1999, Gregory MAQOMA4 danced with Moving Into Dance, a Johannesburg based dance company. He returned to South Africa in 2000 and has since received many awards for his work as a choreographer. In 2002 he was named artistic director of Moving Into Dance.  

After finishing PARTS, Leticia MAZUR3 co-created the trio Secreto y Malibu (2000), a piece which has toured in France, as well as across North America, South America and Asia. She is currently working as a dancer and choreographer in Buenos Aires.  

Lena MEIERKORD4 has worked with Labor G.ras and Laurie Young in Germany and for Toula Limnaios in Zurich. In 2006 she was awarded a scholarship from the Berliner Senatsverwaltung fuer Wissenschaft, Forschung und Kultur.  

Barbara MENESES2 began working with Emio Greco/PC in 2000. She has performed in Extra Dry (2000), Double Point: Bertha (2002) and Teorema (2003) among others.  

Sylvain MÉRET2 has danced with Christiane Blaise, Virginie Mirbeau, Felix Rückert, Martin Sonderkamp and for the the company B. Valiente. He has also worked as a choreographer on several pieces in collaboration with M. Siles in Bordeaux and as part of the collective TuTTi.  

After leaving PARTS, Andreas MERK5 studied theater in Switzerland for several years. He is currently working in Lisbon with Tânia Carvalho.  

Moya MICHAEL3 danced for Akram Khan, notably in Rush (2000) and Ma (2004). Her own choreography has been presented in London and South Africa. She joined Rosas for the productions A Love Supreme (2005) and D’un soir un jour (2006).  

After leaving PARTS, Marlene MONTEIRO FREITAS6 pursued her interest in choreography at the Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon. She has also worked as a dancer with Tânia Carvalho and is currently working with Loic Touzé in France.  

Aurélie MORIN2 founded the company Théâtre de Nuit in 2003, and creates performances with shadow theatre, puppetry, masque play and dance, such as Petites migrations (2003) and Perpetuum mobile (2005), which have been presented extensively in France and abroad.  

Angela MÜLLER5 has worked for Anna Huber in Switzerland and for the Dutch National Opera in Amsterdam. In 2005 she attended Mathilde Monnier’s ex.e.r.ce program in Montpellier, where she created her own works that were shown in Basel, Paris and Montpellier. She is currently dancing for Anouk van Dijk in Amsterdam.   Since graduating in 1999, Melanie MUNT2 has danced with Michèle Noiret, Joanne Leighton, David Hernandez, Bud Blumenthal and Randi de VIieghe. In 2002 she began working as a choreographer and collaborating with the videographer Antonin de Bemels.  

Thi-Mai NGUYEN5 joined Wim Vandekeybus/Ultima Vez in 2002 for the creation of Blush and has since been dancing also in Puur (2005) and Spiegel (2006).  

Constance NEUENSCHWANDER 2 created a dance piece for children Iota danst (2001) with Gustavo Miranda which toured in Belgium and abroad until 2004. She has also collaborated with Eric Raeves, Kris Verdonck, Manuela Rastaldi and performed in several pieces of Dutch mimographer Rob List.  

Kotomi NISHIWAKI5 studied Butoh with Goro Namerikawa and Akira Kasai. She worked with The Gisela Rocha Company before joining Meg Stuart / Damaged Goods for the creation of Replacement (2006).  

Tamayo OKANO1 performed with Koen Augustijnen and Les Ballets C de la B in To crush time (1997), Plage tattoo (1998) and Just another landscape… (2002). In 2004 she partipated in Sanne Van Rijn’s Vormsnoei.  

Roberto OLIVAN DE LA IGLESIA1 joined Rosas in 1997 for the production of Just Before. He left the company in 2000 and has since created choreography for SS (2002) directed by Josse de Pauw and Tom Jansen. Natural Strange Days (2001), Vulnerable (2002) and De Farra (2003) are some of his own productions. He formed Enclave dance company in 2003.  

Erna OMARSDOTTIR1 joined Jan Fabre’s company Troubleyn in 1998. She performed in several productions including the solo My movements are alone like street dogs (2000). She has also performed in Foi (2003) by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui . She formed the collective Poni together with Frank Pay in 2003. Erna has won several awards for outstanding achievement as a dancer and choreographer.  

Iraïs OOMS6 participated in a project by visual artist Michael Pyke and Hooverphonic guitarist Alex Callier, in a short film with live music by Arne Van peterghem of Styrofoam, and as a dancer in a production by Martin Burr of Hollandia.  

Susana PANADÈS DIAZ2 has worked with several companies including Claudio Bernardo, Fabienne Berger, Caterina Sagna and Betina Holzhausen. Since 2004 she has been working with the Swiss choreographer Gilles Jobin.  

Elise PATTYN5 left PARTS due to injuries. She is currently working as a Pilates instructor in Den Haag and as a teacher at the Dance Academy in Amsterdam.  

Elizaveta PENKÓVA5 danced with the Götenberg Ballet before joining Rosas in 2003 for the creation of Bitches Brew/Tacoma Narrows. She has since danced in Kassandra (2004), Raga for the rainy season (2005), Mozart/Concert Arias (2005) and D’un soir un jour (2006).  

Thomas PLISCHKE1 formed the collective B.D.C. (Frankfurt) producing several performances, including Events for Television (Again) (1999) and (Re)sort (2000). Since 2001 he has been working together with partner and artistic twin Kattrin Deuffert. This year they celebrated their 5th anniversary of deuffert+plischke.  

Ulrike REINBOTT5 has worked with the Compagnie Treff in Basel, with Rosalind Crisp in Berlin and for the hip hop group Renegade Theater. She is currently working with Ultima Vez on Spiegel (2006), a production which will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Wim Vandekeybus’ company.  

After finishing PARTS Magdalena REITER2 participated in the X-group where she created the duet All These Apropos. She then went on to create Dialogus in Conventionel (2002) with Katarzyna Chmielewska and Forma Interrogativa (2003) among others. Magda has also worked for Johanne Saunier and with Matej Kejzar.  

Arco RENZ 1 came to PARTS after a career as an actor. He has since worked as a performer and assistant to Robert Wilson and as an assistant to Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker. He formed Kobalt Works in 2000. His productions include Think Me Thickness (2001) and Dreamlands (2003), as well as the solo Heroine (2004). He is currently developing Monsoon, a series of research and performance platforms bringing together Asian and European artists.  

Denis ROBERT4 has worked with David Hernandez, Thierry Smits, Lucius Roméo Fromm, Félicette Chazerand and Sofie Saller, among others. Since 2003 he has been working with Maria Clara Villa Lobos. He performed in M, an average piece (2004) and most recently in Super (2006).  

Heine RØSDAL AVDAL1 began working with Meg Stuart/Damaged Goods in 1997 and later worked with Raimond Hoghe. He created his first production with Yukiko Shinozaki in 2000 and together they formed Deep Blue with sound designer Christoph de Boeck in 2003. His most recent productions are Box With Holes (2005) and Some Notes Are (2006).  

Zsuzsa ROZSAVÖLGYI 5 worked with David Zambrano on the Rabbit Project in 2003. Since 2004 she has been dancing for Rosas. She performed in Raga for a Rainy Season (2005) and D’un soir un jour (2006), among others.  

After graduating from PARTS, Efrat RUBIN4 pursued her studies at the Bezalel Academy for Art and Design. She has been working as a choreographer in Israel. I Saw Myself Enter (2005) and Play (2006) are her most recent productions.  

  Riina SAASTAMOINEN1 has worked with Jan Fabre/Troubleyn, Jan Decorte, Davis Freeman and Manuela Rastaldi. Since 2000 she has been creating her own work. In 2003 she presented Bla Bla Bla with Gregor Asch (DJ Olive) at the Venice Biennial. Hands (2006) is her most recent production.  

Linda SAMARAWEEROVA4 began working with Milli Bitterli in Austria. In 2004 she created Seconds to Choose with Lea Ca-pková and has since then been developing a series of pieces presented under the title Public Body.  

After her studies Márcia SAMO GUDO rejoined the Companhia Nacional de Bailado in Maputo, Mozambique.  

Salva SANCHIS1 has been working as an independent dancer/ choreographer. His own productions include Itch and Fear (2000) and Constant Relay (2002). He began working with Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker as a dancer in Bitches Brew (2003), together they co-choreographed Desh (2005) and A love supreme (2005). Still Live is his most recent choreographic effort.  

Kajsa SANDSTRÖM5 worked with Mette Ingvartsen on Manual Focus (2002) and co-created Rabbit Hole (2004) with Domenico Giustino and Gilles Fumba. She worked with Ula Sickle during the research process for Knockout (2004) and with Tg Stan on L’avantage du doute (2006). She recently premiered Solot in Umeå, Sweden.  

Manon SANTKIN5 worked with Mette Ingvartsen on Manual Focus (2003), Out of Order (2004) and to come (2005). She danced with Salva Sanchis and Igor Shyshko in Double Trio (2005) and is currently collaborating with Leslie Mannes.  

Anabel SCHELLEKENS1 worked for several years with fellow classmate Kosmas Kosmopoulos, together they formed the company Alkyonis. Since 2002 she has been producing her own work. Vous permettez? (2006), together with Thomas Devens, is her most recent production.  

Helder SEABRA DA SILVA6 joined Ultima Vez in 2004 for the revival of Wim Vandekeybus’ creation Les porteuses de mauvaises nouvelles. He has been dancing Puur (2005) and is currently performing in Spiegel, a production which celebrates the 20th anniversary of Ultima Vez.  

Taka SHAMOTO1 joined Rosas in 1997 for the creation of Just before and has since been working with the company. She gave memorable performances in I said I (1999) and alongside Frank Vercruyssen in In real time (2000), as well as in Rain (2001), but if a look should) April me (2002), Kassandra (2004) among others.  

Igor SHYSHKO3 became a member of Rosas in 2000 for the creation process for Rain (2001). He has been working ever since for Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker and has performed in (but if a look should) April me (2002), Bitches Brew/Tacoma Narrows (2003), Kassandra 2004), A Love Supreme (2005), among others.  

Ula SICKLE5 created the solo Figure F (2004) and the duet Knockout (2005). She has also worked as a choreographer for the Teatr Rozmaitosci in Warsaw, Poland and as a dancer for Benjamin Millepied and Company in New York. She is currently working on a new solo project.  

Caroline SIMON2 continued her dance education at the Rotterdamse Dansacademie where she graduated as a dance teacher. She moved to Cologne, Germany, where she now works as dance teacher, dancer and choreographer, creating works such as Descent (2003) and Flooded (2005).  

After leaving PARTS Mateia STANCULESCU6 returned to her native Romania where she worked for an organization which promotes literacy for blind people. She also participated in the creation of a web site dealing with political and religious persecutions during the communist regime.  

Clinton STRINGER3 worked for Joachim Schlömer in Basel before joining Rosas for In Real Time (2000). He has since worked on the creations Rain (2001), Kassandra (2004), Raga for a Rainy Season (2005) and D’un soir un jour (2006) among others.  

Philip STUMMER2 has worked in Austria for Esther Linley Dance company, Andrea Müller and Bob Curtis. Philipp joined Galili Dance in June 1998. He is currently creating a new choreography that will be performed by Rotterdam’s Erasmus Dance Company.  

Silvana SUAREZ5 has worked with Sasha Waltz, Angela Schubot and Martin Clausen, as well as for Tino Sehgal and The Big Art Group.  

After graduation Giulia SUGRANYES1 collaborated with choreographers Enzo Pezzella, Brice Leroux, Anabel Schellekens and Arco Renz. She created several pieces including the duo Redial 2 (2000) with Maarten van Cauwenberghe. In 2002 Giulia joined Rosas for (but if a look should) April me, followed by performances in Bitches Brew/Tacoma Narrows (2003), Kassandra (2004) and Raga for the rainy season (2005) .  

Aneta SZYDLAK4 joined the Joe Alter Dance Group (Lublin, Poland) in 1999 and worked with the company until 2002. During this time she also received a Master Degree in Marketing from the Academy of Economics in Krakow. Since 2004 she has been living and working in London.  

Johan THELANDER5 joined Rosas in 2003 for the productions of Bitches Brew/Tacoma Narrows, Kassandra (2004) and the revival of Mozart/Concert Arias (2004). He then worked with Gisela Rocha in Zürich and with Josse de Pauw/Het Toneelhuis in Antwerp He is currently based in Stockholm.  

Milan TOMÁSIK6 worked in Prague with Duwadance Company and in Ljubljana, Slovenia with En-Knap/Iztok Kovac´ . He recently created and performed the piece Within (2006). In 2006 he co-founded a new company (Les SlovaKs), with Martin Kilvady and others.  

Diana TOMSOVÁ1 worked as a dancer with David Hernandez, Salva Sanchis, Susan Quinn and Micha Purucker.  

Jakub TRUSZKOWSKI2 joined Rosas in 2000 dancing in the revival of Drumming. As part of the company, he participated in the creation of In Real Time (2000), Rain (2001), Bitches Brew/Tacoma Narrows (2003), Kassandra (2004) among others.  

Silvia UBIETA1 has danced for Pierre Droulers, Kosmas Kosmopoulos and David Hernandez, and has collaborated with musician Sarah Goldfarb. She created Grey Wolf (2001) for the Festival Danse en Vol in Brussels.  

Lise VACHON3 began working with Arco Renz in 2002, performing in Mirth (2002) and Opium (2005) among others. She has worked as an assistant to Riina Saastamoien and as rehearsal director for Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker. She is currently working with Michèle Noiret.  

In 2004, Eléonore VALÈRE5 started working with Ultima Vez/Wim Vandekeybus on the revival of Les Porteuses de Mauvaises Nouvelles. She is currently working in London on the creation of Figis with Jean Abreu and is dancing the revival of Sinfonia Eroïca (2006) by Michèle Anne De Mey.  

During her studies Charlotte VANDEN EYNDE2 created several pieces which toured extensively after PARTS, notably the solo Benenbreken (1997), the duet Zij ogen (1998) and the quartet Vrouwenvouwen (1999). In 2000 she made with Ugo Dehaes the duet Lijfstof. Her most recent performances are Map Me (2003) and Beginings/ Endings (2005). She has also collaborated with Jan Decorte and Marc Vanrunxt.  

Katrien VANDERGOOTEN2 has worked with Pierre Droulers on several productions, including MA (2000) and the solo Les Beaux Jours (2002). She has danced with David Hernandez for Blueprint (2002/03) and 3/0 (2003), as well as in productions of Joanne Leighton, Johanne Saunier, Stefan Dreher and Manuela Rastaldi.  

Vania VANEAU5 worked with Célia Gouvea in São Paulo, Brazil, and with Jordi Gali in Brussels. In 2004 she danced with Ultima Vez in the revival of Les Porteuses de Mauvaises Nouvelles and since 2005 works with French choreographer Maguy Marin.  

Louise VANNESTE3 has collaborated with dancers Ayelen Parolin, Stephan Balleux and the electronic musician and composer Cédric Dambrain. She created several of her own pieces, including Spell! (2003) and Iris (2005), which was presented in Théâtre de la Balsamine.  

After finishing PARTS, Gabor VARGA5 worked with Sioned Huws and performed with Rosas in Mozart/Concert Arias (2004). He participated in the creation of to come (2005) by Mette Ingvartsen and is currently dancing on the reprise of Sinfonia Eroïca by Michèle Anne de Mey.  

Laura VEIJOLA5 left PARTS to study Education at the University of Turku, Finland. She has been working regularly with children in a Foster home and is currently finishing her Master’s Degree.  

Jordi VENTURA4 moved to Montréal, Canada and has performed in works of Sonya Biernath, Danièle Desnoyers and Ginette Laurin. He created Conséquences (2004) and directs the dance company What What I What with Sonya Biernath.  

Griet VERSTRAELEN6 left PARTS to study Cultural Management at U.I.A. in Antwerp. From 2004-2006, she helped organize the project De Donderdagen at deSingel in Antwerp and was the tour manager for the Graduation tour PARTS 2006. She is currently working as a production manager for STUK in Leuven, Belgium.  

Maria Clara VILLA LOBOS1 created XL, Because Size Does Matter (2000) as part of the X-group. She then went on to make the children’s piece XS (2002), M, An Average Piece (2003), XXL, Because Big is Beautiful (2005) and Super! (a musical comedy ) (2005). She has also worked with Willi Dorner, Sasha Waltz, Thomas Lehmen and Tino Sehgal.  

David WAMPACH5 danced with Thierry Baë, Christian Bourigault, Mathilde Monnier, Odile Duboc and recently with Christian Rizzo in Soit les puits… (2005). He created works such as Bascule and Circoon C is.  

Rina WERTHEIM1 has been working as a dancer and choreographic assistant for the Vertigo Dance company in Isreal, under the direction of choreographer Noa Wertheim and Adi Sha’al. Sandy WILLIAMS6 danced with Rosas in Bitches Brew/Tacoma Narrows (2004). He collaborated with Jan Ritsema on the duet Blindspot (2005) and KnowH20w (2006), and has also worked with Lynda Gaudreau and Kris Verdonck. He is currently dancing in the revival of Sinfonia Eroïca by Michèle Anne de Mey.  

Shanel WINLOCK4 came to PARTS from South Africa on a scholarship. She has since worked as a dancer for the Akram Khan Company, among others. In 2005 she created the duet Beautiful with Gregory Maqoma, which was presented at the CNDC in Paris.  

After PARTS Karolina WOLKOWIECKA2 participated in the X-group. She worked with Kosmas Kosmopoulos, Sato Endo, and more recently with Kris Verdonck on the installations II (Patent Human Energy) (2004) and Catching Whales is Easy… (2005).  

Since leaving PARTS, Outi YLI-VIIKARI5 has been creating her own work in the field of performance and visual arts. She is currently living, working and studying in Finland.  

After her studies at PARTS, Yasmine YOUCEF5 danced for Georges Khumalo in La (2003), with Emmanuelle Vo-Dinh for Croisées (2004) and White Light (2005), presented during the Rencontres Chorégraphiques Internationales de Seine Saint-Denis, and recently with Franck Picart in Rennes.  

After the completion of the Training cycle Justino ZIMBA returned to Maputo, Mozambique, where he is dancing with the Companhia Nacional de Bailado.  

Joshua ZIMMERMANN5 works in São Paolo and San Francisco. In São Paolo he created Origem de “A” (2005) with Daiane Lopes da Silva. In San Franciso he collaborates among others with Biba Bell’s Urisov company.  

Sharon ZUCKERMAN2 has danced for Johanne Saunier and Yasmeen Godder, collaborated on a duo with Arco Renz and played in Jan Decorte’s BETONLIEBE+FLEISCHKRIEG ‘MEDEIA’ (2002). Her solo Soulonely (2002) and the duo Refusal (2003) were presented in Tel Aviv. She has recently worked as an actress for film and television and as a dancer for the Israeli choreographer Ronit Ziv.
