Salka Ardal Rosengren (SE) started dancing in Stockholm and in 2006 she continued her studies at PARTS in Brussels, where she graduated in 2010.

In 2009 She received the DanceWeb Sholarship.

Salka collaborated with Mikko Hyvönen on their graduation piece Trash Talk that was performed in the PARTS graduation tour 2010, the after-PARTS program in Festival d’Automne in Paris, MDT in Stockholm 2011, Zodiak in Helsinki 2012 and ICE HOT-Nordic Dance Platform 2012.

After graduating Salka has been working with Daniel Linehan and is currently touring his works: Montage for three (2009), Zombie Aporia (2011) The Gaze is a Gap is a Ghost (2012). Salka is also performing in Low Pieces by Xavier Le Roy. In spring 2011 she performed in the art and science project Fictional Offender as a part of Stückwerk, TQW, by the theater director Lucie Strecker and Immunologist Klaus Spiess. During a 100 days in the summer of 2013 she performed in Tino Sehgal's new piece This Variation as a part of (d)OCUMENTA 13.

At the moment Salka is in residency at MDT and Work Space Brussels and with support from Konstnärsnämnden she is working on a new performance in collaboration with the sculptor Nicholas Hoffman (US). They hey are exploring game structures and different ways of playing. It will be premiered at MDT in Stockholm in April 2013.
