After training in ballet, Louise Vanneste heads for contemporary dance and enters P.A.R.T.S. where she graduates from in 2000. Laureate of the SPES foundation, she receives a scholarship to pursue her training at the Trisha Brown Dance Company in New York.
Back to Brussels, where she is based since, she develops her own work and collaborates with artists from various mediums with whom she finds affinities, e.a. the composers Cédric Dambrain and Antoine Chessex, the film maker Stéphane Broc, the dancer Eveline Van Bauwel, the light designer Renaud Ceulemans, the visual artists Stephan Balleux and Arnaud Gerniers.
Her first group piece Sie kommen was created in 2008, then successively the solo HOME and the trio Persona.
Her work is performed in Belgium and abroad and is supported through various co productions, residencies in Belgium and abroad along with project subsidies from Conseil de la danse of the Federation Wallonie - Bruxelles and the Vlaams Gemeenschap Commissie.
Louise Vanneste is now artist in residence in Charleroi-danses - Centre Chorégraphique de la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles and accompanied by Grand Studio (BE). In 2013, she is working on her new piece Black Milk (première April 16th & 17th, 2013 - Les Brigittines - BE) and her first short movie Going West.
