Artemis Stavridi was born in Savoie, France in 1984 and grew up in Athens, Greece. She studied at the State School of Dance in Athens from 2003 to 2006 and performed with the Hellenic Dance Company. From 2006 to 2008 she completed the first cycle at P.A.R.T.S. During this training, among others, she created the duet "AFLA” with Jos Baker, which was performed several times. After P.A.R.T.S she collaborated with Marc Iglesias, together they participated at the Working Title Festival. She also performed with Cie D'ici P./Fre Werbrouck in "Vietnam for two fish" and in "Bains Publics", with A two dogs company/ Kris Verdonck in "I/II/III/IIII"  and with ABATTOIR FERME in "Arcanum" and  “De grand Macabre". From 2010 till 2011 she has been touring with the solo performance of Jan Fabre "Another Sleepy Dusty Delta Day". After that she has danced with Jean Guillaume Weis and Random Scream, and has been collaborated with Hans Karelszoon Van Dijck for the creation of “Humammal Recording #4”. Presently she is been performing with “Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme” directed by Denis Podalydes. For 2013 she starts a new collaboration with Hedi and Ali Thabet to be performed at the National Theater of Brussels.

Artemis took part in several international workshops and for 6 years she was the assistant of Inaki Azpillaga, teaching partnering and contemporary technique classes. In 2006 she participated in DanceWeb Europe Scholarship Program within ImpulsTanz Festival and in 2007 she got the Scholarship from "I.K.Y Greek State Scholarship Foundation".
