  
 
PARTS was founded by Rosas and De Munt/La Monnaie. The school is funded by the Ministry of Education of the Flemish Community and receives additional support from De Munt/La Monnaie, the National Lottery and the network Départs. Départs is funded by the European Commission (Culture Program).

PARTS 2010-2011

Graduation Tour Summer 2010
|
The Graduation Tour 2010 has not ended yet! After performances in Brussels, Frankfurt, Leuven, Istanbul, Lisbon, Essen, Antwerp, Bruges, Amsterdam, Ghent and Ostende, the students are heading for Kinshasa, Vienna, Tallinn, Arhus and Berlin in July and August, embarking on the biggest tour ever organised by PARTS, with more than 50 performances.

PARTS receives the Silver Lion of the Venice Biennale
|
P.A.R.T.S. will receive the first Silver Lion for Dance during the 7th International Festival of Contemporary Dance at the Venice Biennale.

Book publication: P.A.R.TS. - Documenting ten years of contemporary dance education

Teachers, students, former students and outsiders remember, recount and reflect on different aspects of the school: its mission, its program, its daily experience, its impact and its relation to the world. An extensive photo collection gives a view on students and teachers at work. The book finishes with an archive of facts and figures relating to 10 years of PARTS.

PARTS was founded in 1994 by choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker and Bernard Foccroulle, director of the national opera De Munt/ La Monnaie. Under its new director Peter De Caluwe, De Munt/ La Monnaie has continued its structural partnership with PARTS. See www.demunt.be for more information on its activities.
Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker has been the director of PARTS since 1994. Her artistic vision and work, developed since 1982, are a permanent source of inspiration for the pedagogical program of PARTS.
